Caedmon School Council Vision

To make our school a place where every pupil’s voice is heard, everyone feels valued, and we work together to make a positive difference for our school community.

1. Represent the Voice of Our Class

  • Share the opinions, ideas and concerns of our classmates.
  • Listen carefully to everyone’s views.
  • Report back to classes after School Council meetings.
  • Help make sure every child feels heard.

2. Be Confident Leaders

  • Speak clearly and confidently during meetings.
  • Share ideas that can improve our school.
  • Take an active role in discussions and decision-making.
  • Be a positive role model for others.

3. Support and Help Others

  • Help classmates when they need support.
  • Encourage kindness, teamwork and inclusion.
  • Welcome and value different opinions.
  • Work together to solve problems and make improvements.

  • Help staff with OPAL activities.
  • Support school events and special projects.
  • Take responsibility for School Council duties.
